Science & Engineering Complex

Harvard’s Science and Engineering Complex (SEC) features an innovative 6-acre landscape built atop a parking structure, completed in 2020. Organic-Lock Stabilized Aggregate (OLSA) was chosen for the secondary pedestrian paths threading through the campus green roof and courtyard gardens. Initially planned as resin-bound aggregate, these paths were value-engineered to OLSA for cost savings while retaining permeability and visual harmony with the concrete primary walkways. Approximately 120 tons of Natural Stone Dust aggregate stabilized with Organic-Lock were supplied for the SEC’s paths.
