OUR COMMITMENT TO INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES AND THE ENVIRONMENT

At Envirobond, we are deeply committed to empowering Indigenous communities by supporting culturally significant projects that enhance green infrastructure across North America. As a majority Indigenous-owned company with strong roots in sustainability, our Indigenous Commitment Team works hand in hand with Indigenous designers, project managers, and communities to bring their vision to life through the use of our environmentally responsible products. We believe that these projects deserve heightened attention, so we’ve developed a program offering meaningful financial support through product discounts tailored for Indigenous projects. Partnering with our licensed dealers, we deliver these savings all the way to the end user, ensuring these projects are as accessible and affordable as possible. Beyond financial support, our team provides extensive technical expertise and project guidance, fine-tuning our approach to meet the specific needs and cultural values of each project.

Our commitment doesn’t stop at project delivery. As we engage in these collaborations, we document insights and develop case studies, such as our recent Taddle Creek case in Toronto, Ontario, to share the unique and powerful outcomes of these Indigenous projects with the wider landscape architecture community. These case studies not only highlight the technical excellence of our work but also underscore the cultural and environmental significance of each endeavor. We are also working towards a long-term vision of creating a dedicated Indigenous fund, aiming to channel a portion of all product sales into green infrastructure initiatives in Indigenous communities. By supporting sustainable, culturally aligned infrastructure projects, we hope to play a role in helping Indigenous communities flourish while honoring the land and traditions they hold dear. To read more about the impactful work we’ve done, explore our Taddle Creek Case Study, and stay tuned as we continue this journey of partnership, support, and shared growth.

“Indigenous landscape projects are especially meaningful to our company. We approach each one with great care, ensuring they receive focused attention and technical support. Alongside our industry partners, we’re not just supplying sustainable materials—we’re helping to nurture a deeper connection to the land. Our goal is to help empower indigenous communities in reclaiming and revitalizing their landscapes while integrating innovative environmental practices. We’re proud to be part of that journey.”
