Daley Park

Maggie Daley Park is a 20-acre downtown Chicago park known for its imaginative play areas and skating ribbon. Organic-Lock Stabilized Aggregate was used to create permeable secondary pathways and plaza nooks that complement the park’s lawns and gardens. The OLSA surfaces help manage stormwater in the park’s low-lying areas, allowing rain to percolate and preventing puddles on busy walkways. They also provide a comfortable tread for families navigating between playgrounds and picnic spots, and hold up to Chicago’s freeze–thaw cycles.
