The Oxford Basin project in Marina del Rey converted a flood control basin into a 10.7-acre wildlife habitat and park. Completed in 2016, it features a loop trail and viewing platforms around the tidal lagoon. Organic-Lock Stabilized Aggregate was applied to the pedestrian pathway encircling the basin. This permeable trail allows visitors to bird-watch and jog while ensuring stormwater drains into the basin rather than running off.
