Marquette University integrated Organic-Lock Stabilized Aggregate into a campus landscape project to create inviting, sustainable walkways. The OLSA was used for a pedestrian pathway or courtyard in a new campus green space, providing students with a comfortable route between buildings. In Milwaukee’s climate, the stabilized aggregate performs well through rain and snow, remaining stable and mud-free. Visually, the natural aggregate surface complements Marquette’s historic campus architecture and greens, helping the new communal space feel as if it’s always been part of the campus fabric.
