TADDLE

CREEK

Taddle Creek Park is an Indigenous landscape project in downtown Toronto that pays tribute to a buried creek and the area’s First Nations heritage. Opened in 2023, the design features organic shapes, a central gathering circle, and planted swales reminiscent of the lost stream. Organic-Lock Stabilized Aggregate was used extensively for the park’s pathways and plaza areas, chosen for its natural appearance and permeability that align with the project’s ecological ethos.
